STRATEGIC GUIDELINES OF REGIONAL ECONOMIC POLICY TO ENSURE SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH

The article examines the strategic guidelines of regional economic policy in the context of ensuring sustainable economic growth. It is shown that for territories characterized by pronounced spatial heterogeneity and differences in the level of economic development, the search for managerial approaches that ensure a balanced combination of economic, social, and institutional growth factors becomes particularly relevant. The authors substantiate that the objectives of regional economic policy are closely interconnected with regional development tasks and are aimed at the efficient use of territorial resources, structural transformation of the economy, and an increase in investment attractiveness and the well-being of the population. Particular importance is attached to the formation of transparent and effective mechanisms for financing regional and local development, as well as to strengthening the role of local self-government bodies. A conceptual model of regional economic policy is proposed, within which key priorities, goals, and expected outcomes of regional development are identified. It is concluded that the implementation of the identified strategic guidelines creates a foundation for sustainable economic growth.
