METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO ASSESSING THE ECONOMIC POTENTIAL OF HOUSEHOLDS

Abstract

The economic and resource potential of households and modern methods for its assessment are considered. The main emphasis is placed on the components of the category “economic potential”, the problem of its implementation, and the activation of entrepreneurial initiative through the development of individual labor activity and personal subsidiary plots. The economic potential of households, which can be assessed for quanty and quality, that is, their numbers, income and expenses, level of education and other indicators can be studied, can influence the state of households. During the preparation of the article, methods of logical and statistical analysis of economic indicators were used. As a result of the use of statistical methods, it was concluded that assessing the economic well-being of households is a complex process carried out at all stages of the household potential management system. The findings are aimed at quantitative and qualitative measurement of the characteristics of the population's resources in order to ensure their effectiveness.
