The article presents an analysis of the process beset with an emergence of a new kind of social resources called as “informational” ones and its types, experts’ viewpoints of the phenomenon in question. Its role as a universal means of interaction in the system of economic, budget-financial, political, social and other relations as the entire system of modern informatization is consentrated around informational resources. Into the bargain, it is underscored that with a further development of informational-telecommunucational technologies and also digitalization of society these achievements of human intellect started to be engrafted into all the spheres of man’s activities: economy, entrepreneurship, health service education, law, etc. The author studied also principal properties and features of informational resources, destination of the latters, catering of informational needs for the subjects of informational-legal relations, creation of a unified informational-legal space in our republic. He elicited a legislative definition of the concept “informational resources” and determined a difference between the concepts “informational resources” and “informational-legal resources”.
