Methodological Aspects of Investigation of Corruption in the System of Socio-Political Relations

Abstract

The article examines different approaches of corruption analysis in the system of socio-political relations. The examples regarding the fact of corruption being a socio-political problem are adduced and its research in this direction has some important approaches. The author specifically emphasizes that though scientific ideas about corruption emerged in ancient period yet, but comprehensive analysis of this problem started in the latest decades only. The presented scientific approaches show that corruption is a very important and critical problem in the system of socio-political relations of different societies. The adduced approaches associate intansification of corruption with the features of political regimes, transitional periods in societies, post-conflict situations and other aspects of socio-political life of communities. The author emphasizes that these approaches can serve as an important base for studying socio-political aspects of corruption in Tajikistan.
