From the perspective of constitutional reforms, the role of international organizations in the formation of democratic institutions in the Republic of Tajikistan is examined. The influence of influential organizations—the UN, the OSCE, and the European Union—on the process of formation and development of democratic institutions in the country is analyzed. Key aspects are examined, including the reform support mechanism, cooperation with local authorities and civil society institutions, and an assessment of the results of the reforms carried out is given. Based on a comparative analysis of Tajikistan's successful initiatives, general trends and specific features that determine the effectiveness of international assistance in the field of democratization were identified.The study substantiates the need for a comprehensive approach and coordinated efforts of international and national actors to achieve sustainable changes in the country's democratic development.
