This article examines the place of the Quran as the primary source of the Hanafi school of thought on justice. The focus is on understanding the Quran's relationship to justice and the influence of the Quranic tradition on this issue on the development of the Hanafi doctrine of justice. Based on this, the role of the basic principles of the Koran's teaching on justice, in particular the principle of justice, in the formation of the conceptual basis and structure of the Hanafi doctrine of justice is particularly emphasized. The issues related to the determination of the relationship between the legal norms of the Quran and the teachings of the Quran on justice, as well as issues related to the disclosure of the role of the science of interpretation of the Quran in the formation of the Hanafi doctrine of justice, to the role of the court in the implementation of the functions of law-making and law enforcement, are subjected to special consideration. During the study, general scientific and special research methods were used, in particular dialectical, historical, retrospective, systemic-structural, comparative-legal and other methods.
