Abstract

The article explores a topical issue, since environmental problems on the planet are only increasing, which is due to the irrational use of scientific and technological progress and the consumer attitude towards the environment and natural resources of representatives of business, industry and the state. The green economy has become a global trend in recent decades, but it is worth noting that most countries have not come even a little closer to it. The importance of Tajikistan's transition to a green economy is particularly due to the fact that the consequences of climate change and natural disasters: drought, floods, avalanches, landslides, cause significant damage to the economy. Also, the importance of the transition to a green economy in Tajikistan is determined by the importance of obtaining environmentally friendly energy using renewable energy supplies, as well as reducing environmental degradation, strengthening food security by developing the potential of organic agriculture while reducing the consumption of natural resources and improving the quality of life of citizens.
