CRIMINAL LEGAL REGULATION OF THE INSTITUTE OF EXEMPTION FROM CRIMINAL LIABILITY DUE TO ACTIVE REPENTANCE IN THE CRIMINAL LEGISLATION OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES

Abstract

Thearticleanalyzesthelegalnormsofthelegislationofindividualforeigncountries, whichreflectthegroundsforexemptionfromcriminalliabilityinconnectionwithactiverepentance. It is noted that the criminal legislation of many modern states provides for this type of exemption from criminal liability in its norms. The grounds for exemption from criminal liability in connection with active repentance, contained in the Criminal Code of foreign countries, are in many ways similar, but they also have certain features. The peculiarities of legislative regulation of this type of exemption from criminal liability are pointed out when carrying out a comparative legal analysis of the legislation of foreign countries.
