The article shows that in the modern period, when economic relations in the Republic of Tajikistan are formed under the influence of market laws, adaptation of the national economy to them becomes an objective necessity.In a market economy, the traditional agricultural economy occupies a prominent place. The main conditions for the existence of a healthy market environment, economic system and ensuring sustainable economic growth, reducing transaction costs in the economy of the republic are considered. It is clearly shown that such a reduction can be achieved by solving the following problems: ensuring the optimal material structure of the economic system; building new information systems and introducing the latest market mechanisms as an opportunity to use scientific and technical progress in the traditional agricultural economy. It must be taken into consideration that advantages in modern competitive conditions are achieved almost entirely through innovation in technology, through effective management schemes, as well as reliable organization of product promotion
