SOURCES OF THE CONTRACT FOR THE INTERNATIONAL SALE OF GOODS

Abstract

The article briefly examines the sources of the origin of an agreement for the international sale of goods. It is noted that the sources of this agreement constitute a set of rules of private international law governing the relations of the parties to the agreement with a foreign element. The sources of the agreement are: conventions, agreements, norms of national legislation, customs. Based on a study of the sources of the contract for the international sale of goods, we came to the conclusion that the sources of this contract regulate the legal status and relations of the principals of the contract with a foreign element. The sources of the contract for the international sale of goods have a special status in regulating relations related to the international sale of goods.
