The article analyzes the scientific and theoretical foundations of implementation of state management of migration processes in the Republic of Tajikistan. It is noted that the state management of migration processes is a practical way and an organizational mechanism for the influence of the state and authorized state bodies on migration legal relations, the purpose of which is to streamline them. After all, the harmonious implementation of state migration policy also depends on the proportionate implementation of public administration. On the basis of various theoretical approaches, the conceptual foundations of state management of migration relations have been studied, the system of state bodies in the field of migration has been identified, and the main ways to improve the state management of migration relations in the Republic of Tajikistan have been proposed.
