ON THE ISSUE OF STATE AUTHORITY AND MEDIA INTERACTION IN REFORMATION PERIOD OF THE POLITICAL SYSTEM OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

Abstract

The article discusses the transformational periods in the relationship between the state power and media in connection with the change in the political system of the Republic of Tajikistan. The main trends in the development of media in the given period are highlighted. It reviews the features and consequences of media commercialization in Tajikistan. The current media market structure in Tajikistan is defined. It discusses the features of the complete transformation of the Soviet political media system into a new domestic information and political system. Four stages in the formation of relations between state structures and non-state media and the features of each stage are described. The obligations of media and the obligations of state to establish relations between the authorities and journalists is clarified. It is emphasized that given the importance of national independent media in the development of the young state of Tajikistan, it is advisable to support the independent media during this period.
