The article dwells on the innovative development of science and technology in the agro-industrial complex of Tajikistan. It is noted that an important feature of the current stage of development of the entire national economy and the agro-industrial complex, in particular, is the need to accelerate the development of science and technology, which are based on innovative processes that afford to carry out continuous modernization of production based on the development of science and technology.The factors affecting the development of the agro-industrial complex of Tajikistan are reflected. It is noted that innovation processes should always be regulated by the state through appropriate innovation policies. Making a conclusion the author asserts that implementation of this policy will contribute to the continuous and progressive organizational, economic, technical and technological restructuring of agricultural production and the growth of its effectiveness.
