Studying the issue of independence and the role of regions in its strengthening, peace and unity in the process of their attainment is one of the most pressing problems of modern political science. In this regard, it is useful to study relevant points and determine the contribution and role of regions in the process of achieving state independence. This article explores the aspect of the problem in question with reference to scientific and popular sources, documents and norms related to this important political and state process. Resorting to all this the author has achieved interesting results.
