THE ROLE OF E-COMMERCE IN THE FORMATION OF DIGITAL ECONOMY OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

Abstract

The article dwells on theoretic aspects of digital economy and, proceeding from the views of home and foreign scholars, the authors propose their own treatment of the notion “digital economy”. Alongside with it, there are studied normative-legal instruments on the formation of economic relations in the period of economy digitalization in Tajikistan Republic. The state of economy digitalization of TR is assessed in comparison with the indices of other countries of the world; herewith, the following data were taken for analysis: Index of development of the electronic government, Global Innovation Index, Indices were calculated, in particular, by UNO, World organization of Intellectual property, INSEAD International Business School and other institution. The state of TR economy digitalization is compared with the indices of some world countries. The authors have analyzed also the problems of business formation through Internet, they have studied commercial relations on Internet-platforms and assessed the specifities of Internet-commerce development.
