The article dwells on the necessity of adopting complex measures of counteraction to terrorism and extremism in order to ensure security in the region. Attention is paid to an accreting threat of radicalism and terroristic acts; concurrently all its reasons and conditions being enumerated. There are moved the inferences concerned with reasons and conditions of dissemination of extremism and terrorism in the region, young generation’s joining to radical trends and also suggestions on counteraction to ideological, political, racial, national, local or religious forms of propaganda of hatred or enmity. The authors present well-grounded conclusions on elaboration and adoption of a reliable system of complex measures on elicitation and interruption of the sources of propaganda, financing and support of extremistic and terroristic groups with reasons and conditions promoting them being taken into account.
