The article dwells on the study beset with implementation of constructive proposals of Tajikistan Republic President Emomali Rahmon expressed by him regarding the Afghan problem referring to the period since September 11, 2001 up to the beginning of 2002. The author expounds practical steps aimed at the solution of problems complicating in the post-conflict period of the history of Afghanistan. In his article the author adduces the head of state`s treatment to the international community due to international organizations, such as the UN, OSCE conversations with the representative of the European Union being taken into account as well. The author gives a brief information concerned with the internal political situation in the country during the period explored. As well as, the article reflects Emomali Rahmon's initiatives dealing with the cooperation of Tajikistan Republic targeted to the reconstruction of the national economy of Afghanistan in the relevant short historical period.
