Some pecliarities of eastern and western civilizations (historic-juridical and comparative investigation

Abstract

The article presents on endeavour of investigation concerning the essence and peculiarities of the first ancient nidus of the evolution of mankind civilizations – Eastern and Western ones – with taking into consideration such factors as: origin of state and law, society frameworks formation, rights and freedoms of man, state power specificity formation, consciuosness and psychology of both individual and society upon the whole. Keeping to this streamline, the main researche’s attention is targeted at elicitation of cultural-historic peculiarities, contents and nature of Eastern and Western civilizations, specifities of state and law formation and development in the spaces of these civilizations, degree of their being influenced by religion and traditionalism; the author has conducted a comparative analysis of both civilizations exploring the role of Eastern conservatism and Western rationalism in human rights advocacy and emergence of global problems of contemporaneity at the level of society, law and state.
