Proceeding from the studies of the works belonging to a number of foreign researchers devoted to the essence and significance of regional economy diversification, the author of the article has analyzed the interpretation of the term in question done by others respective of a situation and conditions in economy system carrying productive activities. She gives a description in reference to the terms of diversification of regional economy with its types inclusive; the latters being mostly suitable for the specificities and conditions of Sughd viloyat, being engrafted they exert positively upon an improvement of regional economic activities.
