Factors Affecting Competitiveness of Retail Trade Enterprises

Abstract

The author of the article generalized the opinions of a number of scientist-economists dwelling on basic factors ensuring competitiveness of enterprises-retailers and services for population. He gives characteristics of external environment sectors including statal affect measures, state of commodity markets, activity of social and state institutes, social-political atmosphere in the country and home milieu including marketing, scientific-technical, productive-technological, financial-economic potential, effectiveness of advertising, logistic base, system of services swaying over competitiveness and quality of services rendered by retail trade enterprises. Four groups of factors promoting consolidation of concrete positions of retail trade enterprises at consumer markets and qualitative services for customers are suggested.
