Role and Place of Tajikistan in the System of Security and Counteraction to Contemporary Nontraditional Threats in Central Asian Region (Car)

The goals of the research is bringing to surface major nontraditional threats to security and determination of their influence over national security of states and security system of Central Asia upon the whole. The place and role of Tajikistan in this system is comprised as well. The authors have analyzed the main periods of the destructive forces, the types of contemporary nontraditional sway of threats to security in TR and the place and role of law enforcements bodies of Tajikistan Republic in the system in question, in combat with them. No few importance is attached to modern tendencies of development in regard to radical extremistic and terroristic organizations and their sway over the security of Tajikistan Republic and Central Asian states. Inferences and recommendations of the authors are aimed at the improvement of the system of national and regional security in CAR and consolidation and interaction development in reference to regional states, state-members of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Shanghay Organization of Cooperation (ShOC), Community of Independent States (CIS) concerned with neutralization of contemporary threats to security.
