The author of the article substantiates the position denying an acknowledgement of juridical actions as legal means. This inference is based on a philosophical comprehension of activity including aim, means, result and the very process of activity. Legal means can`t be framed into the form of actions and include activity in itself as the representatives of the theory of activity assert, because legal means is one of the links of the «chain» called «activity». Means is a tool whose utilization enables a subject of law to attain the aim designed, but it is no activity itself.
