Theoretical Grounds of Formation and Management in Regard to Competitive Advantages of the Firm

Abstract

The article dwells on the sources of formation in regard to competitive advantages. The authors describe distinctive peculiarities of competitive advantages and competitive process. They pay special attention to innovational strategy of business; isolational mechanism of the firm can be applied for obviation of competitors being taken into account herewith. The conclusion is made that in order to gain profit on the basis of competitive advantage one should, first of all, achieve it; then one ought to strengthen the achieved and hold it for a considerably long time – only in this case desired revenues will be obtained. An organized firm must understand the character of competitive process at a concrete market. An existence of such availabilities will depend on a presence of factors of imperfect competition. It is important to be able of discerning resources and capabilities for conducting a competitive struggle and also the circumstances when these resources and capabilities may be acquired.
