The article dwells on the adaptation of the models of rating assessment in regard to insurance organizations by management with the risks of innovation-oriented development. The merits of the methods in question are its universality and the system of the main and additional indices adequate by a range of encompassment for analysis and assessment of insurance company reliability not only according to the parameters of financial stability, but by a more broad scope of indicators characterizing a resultativeness of insurance company business, its stability able to resist potential risks beset with business running. Except the indices in question characterizing an innovation-oriented development of an insurance organization it is expedient, when estimating reliability ratings, to take into account such factors as relations of an insurance company with regulating bodies and those of surveillance, corporative management level, relations between major company`s shareholders because a reasonability of resolution adopted depends on it; e.g., a resolution related to innovational development of the company that influences directly financial state and reliability of the company; other factors which may be significant for separate companies should be taken into consideration as well.
