Some Aspects of Social Stratification of Contemporary Society

Abstract

The issue in question becomes an important aspect of exploration under the conditions of social changes caused by technological and informational development  and its sway over a social stratification. The subject of our research is a process of social division of the society in the period of the 80-ies – 90-ies of the XX century and in the post-Soviet – sovereign Tajikistan. Special attention is paid to new social formations which are shaped under the conditions of market economy under the sway over innovational processes and market demands for new professions and specialties. The author dwells on the issue of middle class formation in Tajikistan whose basis is entrepreneurship of all types. This class is a formation which provides a stable development of society without social explosions‚ promotes a sustainable development of economy‚ supports national traditions and values being an indicator of high civil consciousness and sovereignty.
