The article dwells on the role of internal and external institutional factors in creating real conditions for the development of small businesses. The author explored the impact of public support upon an efficient use of institutional factors, on accumulation and retention of competitive advantages in transitional economy.
According to the author, the competitiveness of economic entities will provide the prospect of development for small business in the country. Means and methods used for theoretical description serve for providing the main factors of institutional density based on the relationship between the institutions of small businesses. The author comes to the conclusion that the strengthening of the institutional environment of small business depends on identifying priority strategies of the national economy, which directly affects the effectiveness of all forms of economic activity.
